Full Siblings of Ginger

The puppy currently available, Ginger, has a coat most similar to Jake and Emmi (except for color - Emmi was lighter) from the last litter, and Molly from the litter a year ago. She is not as curly as Molly and probably closest to Jake overall. Ginger's coat is very soft and fluffy right now, much like Jake's was at this stage. She will probably be an apricot color like Jake also. Ginger's size is average for her age and she will probably weigh in the 50 to 60 pound range at maturity, possibly larger and very unlikely to be less than this.

Trying to tell what the future holds is not an exact science with the puppies as you can see by comparing the puppy to six month pictures below. Most of the follow-up pictures below are at age six months. The pups will go through more changes and their coats will shed some of the puppy hair even if they will be non-shedding as an adult. The tails still appear scanty at age six months and will fill out to their full beauty as the pup continues to mature.

Molly

Below are pictures of Molly at six months of age. Molly was a puppy from last year's litter of the same breeding who went to her new family in New York.

Awesome! And smart too!

Molly at age one year.

Feedback from Molly's family:

The following feedback is the owner (Colleen's) response to a question put to her by a friend:

Friend: Did you have someone actually train her before you brought her home?

Colleen: Yep - the breeder does 4 weeks of puppy kindergarten (for a price, of course) but it's totally worth it!

Friend: So the training worked?

Colleen: You bet! She's wonderful. She still gets a little stubborn about "come" if she's outside having fun, but she does know what she's supposed to do...she's just choosing not to do it. :o) She's fully housebroken, crate trained, sits on command, knows her right paw from her left when asked for them, lays down on command, and knows the "wait" command.

Friend: Cool!

Colleen: I'll say! Best investment ever. We're a happier family for having her.

Molly had the one month of additional training and went home at 3 months of age.

Below is Dylan at six months old, also from Darby and Pierre's last year's litter. Dylan now lives in California.

Dylan was the only cream Goldendoodle puppy Darby has had. All the rest have been apricots.

Feedback from Dylan's owner:

Dylan is absolutely amazing. He is so smart that our trainer actually suggested he do agility training...she said he would really enjoy it because they have to work their brains hard and he needs that....down at the beach this summer, island residents knew him by name and would call out "Hi, Dylan!" while walking, riding a bike or even driving by in a car....he is quite a hit wherever he goes.....he loves the pool here at home, but really doesn't like to swim too much, so he gets in at the steps and gets wet to cool off and then gets out right away....needless to say, this makes a grooming nightmare but he loves it so much and he is so good about letting me comb/brush him, I can't resist letting him go in.....Thanks again for everything...if you need additional photos, let me know.

He is the absolutely best dog we have ever had....not to diminish our love for previous, but he is special. He spent all summer at the beach and was a huge hit everywhere he went...he had "playdates" a couple of days each week with a "dog-lady" as the island our house is on is very tight quarters...he is now back in our hometown where he has lots and lots of house and ground to enjoy. His training is going very well. He is the best!

Pierre has sired 18 Goldendoodle puppies of which 16 were apricots and 2 were creams. The color will lighten as the pup gets their doodle coat. You can find images of the last litters as babies followed by six month updates for most of the puppies. That will give you an idea as to what color changes will take place and coat type the pup will most likely have.

There is more feedback from other litters on the Feedback page.
